From Saga you will have to travel to Prayang and spend the night there, before finally moving to Mansarovar. It is a 7 hour drive from the Paryang and while you are travelling by road, you will get a view of the mighty Himalayas and all of a sudden, the turquoise blue Mansarovar Lake will appear.

Actual commencement of the Mount Kailash Mansarovar Yatra

The actual Kailash Mansarovar parikrama will start the next day from Tarboche and from there you will need to trek for close to 7 hours to reach a place called Driraphuk. You will need to spend the night at one of the camps that are stationed at this place. Get to Zuthul Puk via Dolmala Pass. From Zuthul Puk you will need to go for Kailash Trekking till the actual pilgrimage point. Once there you can perform all the required rituals before turning back and returning on the same path. The pilgrimage itself will take some time and even though the whole journey appears to be very easy, it is an extremely tough one and requires a lot of will-power and physical strength.
