Itinerary Detail

Day 01: Arrival Delhi 

Arrive in Delhi, India. Upon arrival in the capital of India – Delhi, Lumle Holidays representative will greet and assist you to transfer you to the well-maintained & prestigious hotel, designated for you. After a traditional welcome with flower garland and Tilak at the hotel reception you will check into your hotel room. Enjoy rest of the day at leisure or in your own individual activities. Enjoy a welcome dinner at the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel. 

Day 02: Delhi sight seeing

Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on a full day sightseeing tour of Old & New Delhi. During your tour to Old Delhi you will see Raj Ghat – the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India and the grand Red Fort – once the most opulent fort and palace of the Mughal Empire. Also enjoy the cycle rickshaw ride from Jama Masjid to bustling bazaars of Chandani Chawk. 

Day 03: Delhi - Jaipur

On day 03 of your tour, have a relaxed morning breakfast at the hotel. Later set off for Jaipur – the capital of Rajasthan, India, also known as the Pink City. Upon arrival in Jaipur, you will be met Lumle Holidays representative and transferred to the designated hotel. Relax for some hours at the hotel and then set off for sightseeing of the city. Visit to the famous Hindu sight the Birla Temple and participate in the evening Aarti ceremony. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Jaipur: - Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan, India and famous for its magnificent monuments, forts and palaces, Craft items and many more. Jaipur is also popularly known as the pink city.

Day 04: Jaipur Sightseeing

Have a relaxed morning breakfast at the hotel and proceed for an excursion to Amber Fort on day 03 of your Colourful Rajasthan Tour. Enjoy elephant ride to the fort. 

Amber Fort Palace - Amber Fort Palace is an architecturally beautiful structure. It is a fine example of blend of Mughal and Hindu architecture. The construction of Amber Fort was started by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by his descendent Jai Singh I. 

After exploring the Amber Fort Palace, proceed to sightseeing of Jaipur. Some major attractions of Jaipur are following

City Palace - City Palace complex is a superb example of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture. There are many beautiful buildings inside the palace complex such as Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, and Badal Mahal etc. It houses also Shri Govind 

Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.

Jantar Mantar – One of the major tourist attractions in the pink city – Jaipur is Jantar 

Mantar Jantar Mantar is the largest observatory which is built by Maharaja Jai Singh II. 

Hawa Mahal - Built in 1799 by Maharaja Pratap Singh the Hawa Mahal also known as “Palace of Winds” is a prominent landmark in the pink city – Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. The ornamental façade of Hawa Mahal is very beautiful. Hawa Mahal is a five-storey structure of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and sophisticated galleries. This unique palace has 953 niches and windows. 

After exploring these attractions return to the hotel. Spend rest of the day at the hotel or you can also spend rest of the day in shopping or your own independent activities. It is said that Rajasthan is shopper’s paradise. And Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan prove this proverb. Shopping in Jaipur is superb and totally unique experience. 

One can buy here gold and silver jewellery, blue potteries, fabrics, paintings, handicrafts, silk, sarees, wooden handicrafts and furniture, carpets and many more. After shopping, return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 04: Jaipur city tour

Day 05: Jaipur – Agra

Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to the Taj City – Agra in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. En route, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the capital of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Upon arrival in Agra, Our representative will assist you to transfer you to the well-maintained & prestigious hotel, designated for you. Later, visit the magnificent white marble love monument Taj Mahal. Also visit the Agra Fort and other attractions of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. Return to the hotel for a sumptuous dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 06: Agra-Jhansi 

Morning you will be transferred to the Agra Railway Station to board Shatabdi Express Departure at 0712 hrs for Jhansi. Upon arrival in Jhansi Railway station at you will be met Lumle representative and transferred to Orcha. Upon arrival in Orcha check into the hotel. 

Afternoon sight-seeing of Orchha - walk by the century old temples and forts, each with its own poignant history, and rest amidst the beauty of the ruins. Amongst the various imposing edifices, of particular interest are the Jehangiri Mahal, built by Raja Bir Singh Deo to commemorate the visit of Moghul Emperor Jehangir, the Raj Mahal and the Laxmi Narayan Temple, both noted for their fine frescoes and mural. Day 07: Orcha-Khajuraho 

After breakfast leave for Khajuraho. Upon arrival in Khajuraho check into the hotel.

Morning sight-seeing of the spectacular ninth to thirteenth century temples of Khajuraho, built by Chandela kings, the temples are exquisitely carved with graceful statues and frieze Gods and Goddesses. Overnight in Hotel

Day 08: Khajuraho-Varanasi 

Today you will be transferred to Khajuraho airport to board flight for Varanasi. Upon arrival in Varanasi airport you will be met by Lumle representative and transferred to the hotel.

In the afternoon proceed to the village of Sarnath on the outskirts of town. It was in this Deer Park that the Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Visit the Park and Museum. Sarnath was made center of Buddhist worship by the emperor Ashoka in the 3rd century BC. We will visit the Main Shrine and Ashoka' s Pillar. In the Archaeological Museum we will see the beautifully carved capital from the pillar along with many other priceless Buddhist artifacts. Overnight at the Hotel

Day 09: Varanasi sightseeing

Varanasi formerly known as Benares, is the city where the Hindu followers came to bathe in the sacred waters of the Ganges . Early this morning get ready for a dawn boat ride on the River Ganges. The Ganges is the most sacred and venerated river in India. Besides the ritualistic aspect of Hinduism (thread ceremony, head shaving food to the departed souls etc.) also see the bathing. Laundry and the Cremations of the dead that take place here on the banks of the river. After the boat ride walk through the fascinating narrow twisting lanes of the city to watch the performance of various Hindu rituals by the pilgrims.

After the boat trip on the Ganges we return back to the hotel. After breakfast we will proceed for a city tour. Visiting Bharat Mata Temple, Vishweshwara Temple, Benares Hindu University. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 10: Varanasi-Kathmandu

Today you are transferred to Varanasi Airport to board flight for Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu airport you will be met by Lumle representative and transferred to the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel

Day 11: Kathmandu sight-seeing

After breakfast we drive Kathmandu Durbar Square. So far as art and architecture are concerned, you need to look no further. This complex of places, countryards and temples built between the 12th and 18th century. The Durbar Square protected by UNESCO as the world heritage site in the social, religious and urban focal point of the city. We then drive to Pashupatinath temple. The holiest of holy Hindu temple in south Asia is the focal point of pilgrimage from all over the sub-continent. The holy river Bagmati flowing nearby is the cremation ground of the Hindus. Funeral pyres can be viewed from across the riverbank. We then visit to Bouddhanath. Probably the largest stupa in the world is also found in Kathmandu valley-the great stupa of Boudhanath. Again the omni-sighted eyes of the Buddha stare all the directions. This Stupa is the place of worship of Tibetan Buddhists predominantly.  

Day 12: Patan & Bhaktapur sight-seeing 

After breakfast, we proceed on Patan Durbar Square. It is protected by UNESCO as a world heritage site. The former Royal Palace complex is the centre of Patan's religious and social life. One remarkable monument here is the 17th century temple dedicated to the Hindu god Krishna built entirely with just stone. We then proceed on Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is one of the oldest cities in Kathmandu valley. It is well known as Living Museum. Old brick paved enclave of old Royal palace, Nyathapola Temple, Datatriya temple exquisite artwork offers a picture of the grandeur of medieval Nepal. It is very famous for woodcarving and pottery products. Finally we visit another Vishnu temple of Changunarayan which is the oldest known temple existing in the valley dating back to the 4th century. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Kathmandu – Daman

After the breakfast, we drive to Daman. Fall in Daman at about 2,400 meter from the sea level transfer to hotel. Amuse well in rock climbing around the rural area, horse riding, watch the picturesque range of Himalayan ranges possessing verdant hills and gorges. The meals in night can be taken with the admirable presentation of Nepalese cultural program. Overnight in hotel

Day 14: Daman – Kathmandu

After breakfast drive to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu check into the hotel. Remaining time free for rest and walk around city. Overnight in hotel.

Day 15: Final departure

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for onward journey.
