The tour concludes back at your hotel. Prepare an overnight bag for your 2-night stay in Hakone; your large luggage will be transferred from your Tokyo hotel to your Kyoto hotel on Day 4.

After breakfast, your luggage will be transferred from Tokyo to Kyoto (next-day delivery). Prepare an overnight bag for your 2-night stay in Hakone. Make your own way to Shinjuku Station using your PASMO and take the express train to Hakone-Yumoto Station (approximately 2 hours). The rest of the day is free for you to explore Hakone at your leisure. Use your Hakone Free Pass for transfers to your hotel. Check-in begins at 15:00. Enjoy a traditional Japanese dinner at the inn.

Start your day with a traditional breakfast at the inn. Spend the entire day at your leisure exploring the scenic beauty of Hakone. You may choose to visit the hot springs, take a cable car ride, or simply enjoy the picturesque landscapes. Dinner will be served at the Japanese inn.

After breakfast, make your way to Odawara Station using your Hakone Free Pass. Take the bullet train to Kyoto (approximately 2 hours). On arrival, transfer to your hotel on your own. Check-in is available from 15:00.

After breakfast, meet your English-speaking guide at the hotel for a full day of sightseeing in Kyoto using public transportation (pay with your PASMO). Visit the iconic Fushimi Inari Shrine, explore the Tofukuji Temple (upon request), and marvel at the stunning Kiyomizudera Temple. Stroll through the historic Higashiyama District, including Ninenzaka and Sannenzaka. Return to the hotel, where the guide’s service concludes. The guide will also arrange for your luggage transfer from Kyoto to Osaka (one piece per person) for your departure on Day 9.

Prepare an overnight bag for your 2-night stay in Hiroshima. Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel in Hiroshima. The rest of the day is free for you to explore (check-in from 15:00).

After breakfast, make your way to Hiroshima Station for your bullet train journey to Shin-Osaka. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Osaka (check-in from 15:00). In the evening, meet with an English-speaking guide for an Osaka food tour, sampling local dishes during a walking tour of Dotonbori. Transportation will be via public transport (pay with PASMO). Return to the hotel where the assistant’s services conclude.
