Upon landing, proceed through immigration and baggage claim, where a representative from Lumle will greet you and escort you to your hotel. Enjoy your first glimpse of the sprawling metropolis, a city teeming with history, culture, and modern vibrancy. Day 2 : EXPLORE TEPOTZOTLAN AND DISCOVER QUERETARO

(Today’s program includes breakfast.) Today, head out to the colonial town of Tepotzotlán, which dates back to its Otomí origins. This town, perched at 2,300 meters above sea level, is home to the magnificent Monastery of San Francisco Javier, a splendid example of Churrigueresque-style architecture. Stroll through its monastic gardens and visit the Museo Nacional del Virreinato, home to an extensive collection of colonial-era religious art. Continue your journey to the UNESCO-listed city of Querétaro, a historical gem known for its role in Mexico's fight for independence. Enjoy a tour of the Plaza de Armas, the impressive cathedral, and the Regional Museum, located in the former San Francisco monastery, all while absorbing the colonial charm and revolutionary history of this pivotal city.

Day 3 : ARTISTIC SAN MIGUEL DE ALLENDE AND SPIRITUAL ATOTONILCO

(Today’s program includes breakfast.) Start the day by traveling to San Miguel de Allende, a UNESCO World Heritage town famed for its colorful streets and thriving art community. The centerpiece of the town is the pink Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, an impressive Gothic-style church that was rebuilt to resemble the Ulm Minster in Germany. Stroll through the bustling Mercado de Artesanías, a vibrant market where you can find traditional Mexican crafts, jewelry, and textiles. Next, visit the nearby town of Atotonilco, home to the awe-inspiring Santuario de Jesús Nazareno, also known as the “Sistine Chapel of Mexico” for its richly decorated interior adorned with intricate murals.

Begin with a visit to the Casa Diego Rivera, the birthplace of Mexico’s most celebrated muralist. Here, you’ll witness a comprehensive collection of Rivera’s works, from his early sketches to his later, more politically charged murals. Continue to the Alhóndiga de Granaditas, a former grain store turned fortress, and one of the key battlegrounds in Mexico’s War of Independence. Conclude your day with a panoramic view of the city from the Pípila Monument, where you can take in the breathtaking vistas of Guanajuato's colorful buildings nestled in the valley below.

Day 5 : AGUASCALIENTES – HISTORY, CULTURE, AND ART

(Today’s program includes breakfast.) Your journey continues to Aguascalientes, where you will visit the fascinating Museo Nacional de la Muerte. This unique museum offers a deep dive into Mexico’s cultural relationship with death, displaying over 1,200 artifacts ranging from ancient death masks to modern-day representations of the Day of the Dead. Afterward, visit the Museo José Guadalupe Posada, which showcases the iconic works of the famous Mexican printmaker, best known for his La Catrina imagery. Later in the day, take a detour to the charming town of Calvillo, renowned for its guava plantations, where you can learn about the cultivation and processing of this sweet tropical fruit.

Day 6 : EXPLORE TEQUILA AND GUADALAJARA’S CHARMS

Stop at the Casa José Cuervo, one of the most well-known distilleries, for a tour and a tasting session in their historic cellars. In the afternoon, continue to Guadalajara, Mexico’s second-largest city.
