Day 1 : DEPART NEW YORK

Today you’ll board on an overnight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival you are met at the airport and escorted to your hotel. The capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires is a culturally rich with the sensation of a European city and a strong Latin American essence. Best known for its cuisine, interesting cultural heritage and as the home of tango, the capital city of Argentina has lots to offer in the next few days.

You can fly from a choice of various local airports at extra costs. The easily overlooked details can have a major effect on your holiday. Day 2 : ARRIVE BUENOS AIRES

Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you are met at the airport and escorted to your hotel. The remainder of the time at your leisure to recover from your flight or explore one of South America's most iconic cities. You may chose to go shopping in the bohemian district of San Telmo, discover the colourful streets in La Boca or enjoy a Argentinian steak and wine by the undulating waters of the Rio de la Plata in Puerto Madero.

Day 3 : BUENOS AIRES

Afterward, you will proceed for a city tour.

These tours transmit a complete Buenos Aires, showing sectors of the city of enjoyment, customs and habits of Porteños and Argentinians, such as the most important park, Tres de Febrero, the hippodrome, the Polo Field, Historical Sectors, such as Plaza Italia, Plaza de Mayo (drop off), San Telmo and La Boca. Walk in Recoleta to know the Historical-Architectural Cemetery, recognized all around the world. Churches like Del Pilar, and Cathedral among others. The symbol of our city: the Obelisk. Main avenues such as Corrientes, De Mayo, 9 de Julio, Alvear, Del Libertador among others; neighborhoods with history as La Boca (drop off) San Telmo, sumptuous as Palermo and Recoleta, modern as Puerto Madero; Lezama Park, the Ecological Reserve, commercial and financial areas.

Day 4 : BUENOS AIRES

Half Day Tigre Delta (Delta, Tigre & San Isidro) (4 hours) - Shared Service.

Watching the Delta you will appreciate the generosity of nature in a very singular place. We will leave Buenos Aires City going to the north of the Great Buenos Aires looking for the natural scenery of the Delta and its islands. The way of life the “isleños” (people who lives in the islands) is very special. We will know their costumes, culture and their way of life. We will also see elegant residences located in the residential neighbourhoods of the northern suburbs. We will visit San Isidro neibourhood (stop) and the Amazing Cathedral. On the way back to Buenos Aires City, we will pass next to the Presidential Residence (Quinta de Olivos) , where all the Argentinian Presidents use to live during their Presidences.

Tango Dinner Show

Elegant cuisine, great music and passionate tango, this evening excursion takes you to the Café de los Angelitos, where musicians and singers play classic tango while professional dancers perform. This is a amazing evening out and an brilliant way to get into the Argentinian spirit. So don’t miss a true experience with a tango show at Café de los Angelitos, Buenos Aires.

Day 5 : BUENOS AIRES – IGUAZU FALLS BY FLIGHT

As per the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Puerto Iguazu.

Puerto Iguazú

This city is located in the northeastern tip of Argentina, near the border with Brazil and Paraguay. It is considered a natural paradise with incredible landscapes thanks to the imposing Iguazú waterfalls, only 17 km away from the city center. A varied offer of natural attractions combines here with interesting cultural and historical places to provide a memorable, enjoyable visit.

Day 6 : IGUAZU FALLS

Full Day Argentinian Falls (8 hours) - Shared Service English speaking guide. The Iguazú Falls are made up by more than 250 waterfalls on the Iguazú River, on the border between Argentina and Brazil. The Iguazú National Park protects the Argentinian side of this area where visitors marvel at the breathtaking scenes of exuberant and untouched nature. They were declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984 and recently, one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature. A 20-minute ride on the ecological train followed by a walk along a trail will take visitors to the famous and imposing Devil’s Throat, a horseshoe-shaped, 80-meter-high fall. It is simply stunning and astonishing! Visitors can get to know the falls through the Upper and Lower circuits which are circular trails connected one to the other. The Upper one offers panoramic views of some waterfalls from lookout points such as Dos Hermanas, Bosetti, and San Martin among others. The Lower Circuit leads to the lower part of the same waterfalls where lagoons are formed.

Day 7 : IGUAZU FALLS

Half Day Brazilian Falls (5 hours) - Shared Service English speaking guide. The Brazilian side is protected by Iguaçu National Park which offers beautiful panoramic views of the Iguazú River canyon and the waterfalls. Once at the Park´s Visitors Center, internal shuttle buses take us to the starting point of the 1500-meter-long walkway over the river gully. We will be able to stop at different viewpoints along this trail for unforgettable sights of the falls and the lush subtropical jungle until we get to the highlight of this visit: the Devil´s Throat waterfall. The stairs or the elevator at this point will take us back to the internal shuttle bus stop.

Day 8 : IGUAZU FALLS – RIO DE JANEIRO BY FLIGHT

Later you will be transferred to the airport for a flight to Rio de Janeiro.

Just before disembarking in this iconic city, take some time to admire its location in one of the world’s most stunning natural settings, with beautiful bays, tropical beaches, and hills rolling into the ocean. With fantastic nightlife, culture and stunning settings, a former capital of Brazil, Rio has evolved into arguably the most vibrant city in all the Americas. Upon arrival transferred to the hotel.

Day 9 : RIO DE JANEIRO

Later proceed for a tour to Corcovado.

Set off on a half-day tour to Christ the Redeemer, to view the most emblematic sights of the city. Visit the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue, for amazing views across the city and its various beaches. You can admire the famous Maracanã stadium, the city center, and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. The statue and viewpoint are encompassed within the Tijuca National Park, so you can enjoy the quiet tranquility of the surrounding natural environment as you watch the skyline from afar. Return to the city, passing by the Sambodromo, where the annual Rio Carnival occurs. The remainder of the day is free at your leisure.

Arrival in Buzios, check in at the hotel. Enjoy your afternoon exploring Buzios. Rua das Pedras is an excellent option if you are seeking good food and some shopping.

Set off on an exciting non-guided panoramic Escuna Cruise along the paradise coastline of Buzios. Depart on a traditional boat to discover the most beautiful beaches on the peninsula. Stop and dive into the refreshing clear waters at the beaches of Azeda, Azedinha, and Joao Fernandes and take in the view of uninhabited Islands such as Caboclo, Branca, and Fela. On board, enjoy the cheerful atmosphere and traditional Brazilian music before returning to shore and spending the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Argentina Entry requirements :  British / American / Canadian nationals don’t need a visa to enter or travel through Argentina as a tourist for up to 3 months, unless you’re travelling on an emergency travel document. Valid passport is required with at least six months validity.

Argentina Entry requirements :  British / Amercian / Canadian nationals can visit Brazil without a visa for up to 90 days for tourism. If you want to extend your tourist visa, contact the Federal Police (in Portuguese) before your visa expires. For more information about visas, contact the Brazilian Consulate in your country. If you overstay your visa, you’ll face a daily fine.

Argentina Currency : The peso (established as the peso convertible) is the currency of Argentina since 1992, identified within Argentina by the symbol $ preceding the amount in the same way as many countries using peso or dollar currencies. US dollars are also widely accepted.

Brazil Currency : The Brazilian real (BRL) is the official currency of Brazil. It is divided into 100 centavos. The symbol of the Brazilian real is R$. US dollars are also widely accepted.

Argentina Language : The official language of Argentina is Spanish, which is spoken by nearly all Argentinians. Because of Argentina’s history, you may find several other languages in Argentinian records. These include Italian, Latin, German, and other European languages.

Brazil Language : The primary language in Brazil is Portuguese, which is spoken by 98% of the people in Brazil. It is the language of government, of education, of the arts and of almost every element of daily life.

Health: You should consult your doctor or travel clinic at least four to six weeks prior to travel — they’ll have access to the most up-to-date requirements for your destination. They’ll also be able to advise on what’s appropriate for you personally, taking into account your medical history and any pre-existing conditions. This is important as some vaccinations aren’t recommended for everyone.

Card : Diners Club, MasterCard and Visa credit cards are all accepted; American Express slightly less so. Many banks will only process MasterCard for cash credits. Cash may be the only form of payment.

ATMs are common throughout the cities and small towns. They will usually accept foreign cards but in some regions only Visa cards are accepted. Occasionally, paying with credit cards may not be possible for technical reasons. Bringing a good supply of US dollars in cash is advised, as many things such as personal expenses or meals at restaurants, can be paid for with US dollars.

Argentina Climate And Weather : Annual temperatures range from 17 °C (63 °F) in the north to 14 °C (57 °F) in the south. Precipitation increases toward the east and ranges from under 500 mm (20 in) in the south and west to 1,200 mm (47 in) in the northeast.

Brazil Climate And Weather : The equator runs through northern Brazil, resulting in a tropical climate in most parts of the country. In the Amazon rainforest region, the climate is tropical, humid and hot throughout the year, with heavy and persistent rainfall from November to April. Temperatures are usually between 25 and 32 degrees Celsius.

Clothing And Dress Recommendations : Lightweight cotton and linen clothing is recommended for most of the year with warmer clothes for cooler evenings. Waterproofing is necessary during the rainy season. Loose-fitting clothing is best. Wear neutral browns and greens for birding and wildlife viewing. Always bring mosquito repellent for both day and night.

Internet Availability : There are internet cafes throughout the country, and most tourist hotels also provide facilities such as Wi-Fi. Internet speed may be rather slow but this should improve as the government aims to improve infrastructure to allow for faster broadband connections.

Argentina Electricity And Plug Standards : For Argentina there are two associated plug types, types C and I. Plug type C is the plug which has two round pins and plug type I is the plug which has three flat pins in a triangular pattern. Argentina operates on a 220V supply voltage and 50Hz.

Brazil Electricity And Plug Standards : For Brazil there are two associated plug types, types C and N. Plug type C is the plug which has two round pins. Plug type N is the plug which has two round pins and a grounding pin. Brazil operates on a 127/220V supply voltage and 60Hz.
