Upon arriving in Kolkata, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to explore the city or simply unwind after your journey.

After breakfast, we head to Kolkata airport for our flight to Jorhat or Dibrugarh, nestled in Assam. Upon landing around midday, we embark on a scenic four-hour minibus ride to Neamati Ghat, where the ABN Sukapha awaits on the mighty Brahmaputra River. Depending on the river levels, the transfer duration may vary slightly.

Today, we journey to the Gibbon Sanctuary at Mariani, where we’ll trek through lush forests to spot India’s only ape, the Hoolock Gibbon, and an array of vibrant bird species. Later, we return to our ship and cruise toward Majuli Island, the world's largest river island, known for its untouched landscapes and incredible birdwatching opportunities.

Majuli Island’s rich cultural history unfolds today, starting with a visit to Auniati Monastery, where we explore its museum. We’ll enjoy a traditional lunch at a Mising tribal bamboo hut and then witness a captivating dance-drama performance at Kamalabari Monastery. Alternatively, birdwatching enthusiasts can venture out to explore Majuli’s diverse avian species. We end the day cruising downriver as the sun sets.

Cruise along the Brahmaputra, keeping an eye out for waterbirds, Gangetic River Dolphins, and otters. We’ll stop at a riverside village like Jamuguri or Bokaduar to get a glimpse of local tribal life. As Kaziranga National Park comes into view, be on the lookout for wild Asian elephants, deer, and even the rare Bengal tiger. Our goal is to reach Silghat by day’s end, as the sunset provides a stunning backdrop.

Set off early for a thrilling jeep safari through Kaziranga’s Eastern Range, home to incredible grasslands and woodlands. This UNESCO World Heritage site is famous for its population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses. Alongside the rhinos, expect to spot wild water buffalo, deer, elephants, and a wide array of bird species, including Bengal Floricans and various waterbirds.

Today’s adventure takes you on a jeep safari through Kaziranga’s Central Range, one of the park’s richest wildlife areas. In the afternoon, we’ll explore terraced tea gardens and visit a quaint Durga temple in a nearby village before returning to the ship for a relaxing evening.

Rise early for another exciting game drive, this time through Kaziranga’s Burra Pahar Range. Later, we’ll take a nature walk around Hatimura, where birdwatching opportunities abound. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure.

Our final safari in Kaziranga’s Eastern Range takes us through diverse grasslands and forests, offering more chances to spot the park’s iconic wildlife. After lunch at a lodge, the afternoon is yours to relax before we set sail for Tezpur.

We venture into the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas to explore Nameri National Park. This lesser-known gem offers a serene environment for birdwatching, with possible sightings of the rare Ibisbill along the Jia-Bhoroli River. We’ll glide down the river in inflatable rafts, paddled by local experts, before heading back to Tezpur for the evening.

Today’s journey takes us through scenic sandbanks and river islands. We’ll explore a village on one of these islands, immersing ourselves in local culture before reaching Guwahati. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the renowned silk-weaving village of Sualkuchi before returning to our ship for the final night on board.

Before disembarking, we’ll visit Nilachal Hill in Guwahati to take in the stunning views and explore the woodland around Kamakhya Temple, where birdwatchers might spot the rare Greater Adjutant Stork. Afterward, we head to the airport for our afternoon flight to Kolkata. On arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel for the night.
