Day 1 : DEPART NEW YORK

Embark on your journey with a flight to Bishkek, the vibrant capital and cultural center of Kyrgyzstan.

Day 2 : ARRIVAL IN BISHKEK

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Bishkek. Take the rest of the day to unwind and acclimate to your new surroundings. You might explore local cafes or stroll through the city's parks at your leisure.

Day 3 : ALA ARCHA NATIONAL PARK

Set out for a day trip to Ala Archa National Park, renowned for its dramatic mountain scenery and rugged gorges. Enjoy a leisurely hike through this stunning landscape. Return to Bishkek for a city tour that includes the Manas Monument, the State History Museum, and a walk around Ala Too Square to witness the ceremonial changing of the Guard of Honor.

Day 4 : LAKE ISSYK KUL

Visit the ancient Burana Tower, a remnant of the 12th-century city of Balasagun. Then head to Cholpon-Ata, nestled on the shores of Lake Issyk Kul. Marvel at the 8th-century petroglyphs carved into glacial rocks and take a relaxing cruise on the lake, surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery.

Day 5 : JOURNEY TO KARAKOL

Travel to Karakol, stopping en route at Semenov Gorge for a gentle hike through its picturesque landscapes. Explore the Kyrchyn Jailoo ethnic village, then arrive in Karakol to visit the Przhevalsky Museum, dedicated to the Russian explorer. Also, see the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church and the unique Chinese Mosque.

Day 6 : JETI-ORGUZ GORGE

Experience the lively atmosphere of Karakol's Sunday animal market, a vibrant local event. In the afternoon, visit the striking Jeti-Oguz Gorge, famous for its red sandstone formations. Conclude the day with a home-cooked dinner with a local Dungan family, offering a taste of Kyrgyz hospitality.

Day 7 : EAGLE HUNTING

Depart early for the village of Bokonbaevo to witness an ancient Kyrgyz tradition: eagle hunting. Observe the majestic golden eagles in action. Continue your journey to Naryn for an overnight stay amidst beautiful landscapes.

Day 8 : TASH RABAT

Travel through dramatic mountain passes and valleys to reach Tash Rabat, a historic stone caravansary that once served travelers on the Silk Road. Enjoy the tranquil beauty of the surrounding valley, considered one of Kyrgyzstan’s most scenic areas, before returning to Naryn.

Day 9 : KOCHKOR

Proceed to Kochkor, renowned for its traditional Kyrgyz felt crafts. Visit a workshop specializing in 'shyrdak' (wool carpets) and a co-op training local women in traditional handicrafts. In the evening, travel to a guesthouse near Chong-Kemin National Park for a night in a serene setting.

Day 10 : CHONG-KEMIN NATIONAL PARK

Journey from Kochkor to Chong-Kemin, a picturesque valley framed by towering mountains. Take a walk through the foothills to soak in the natural beauty. Later, transfer to Bishkek for your flight to Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Day 11 : TASHKENT

Explore Tashkent, Uzbekistan’s capital, starting with the Barak Khana Seminary, Kukeldash Madrassah, and Tila Shaikh Mosque, which houses a revered Koran. Visit the bustling Chorsu Bazaar and enjoy a hands-on experience at a local ceramic workshop.

Day 12 : SAMARKAND

Travel to the legendary city of Samarkand. Discover Registan Square, home to the majestic Ulug-Bek and Tillya-Kori Madrasahs. Enjoy the rest of the day exploring the city’s rich history and vibrant culture at your own pace.

Day 13 : SAMARKAND

Visit the Gur Emir Mausoleum, the final resting place of Tamerlane. Explore Bibi-Khanum Mosque, the bustling Siab Bazaar, and the Shahi Zinda Necropolis. In the afternoon, see the Mausoleum of the Prophet Daniel.

Day 14 : KONIGIL VILLAGE

Explore Ulugbek's Observatory, a significant astronomical site from the 15th century. Visit the ancient settlement of Afrosiab and then head to Konigil Village to see traditional papermaking techniques. Return to Samarkand and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 15 : SHAKHRISABZ

Travel to Shakhrisabz, the birthplace of Tamerlane. Explore historical sites such as the Ak-Sarai Palace ruins, Dorus Tilavat cemetery, and Kok-Gumbas Mosque. Return to Samarkand in the afternoon.

Day 16 : BUKHARA

Journey to Bukhara with a stop in Gijduvan to witness the art of traditional ceramics. Arrive in Bukhara and begin exploring its rich heritage, including ancient mosques, madrassahs, and vibrant bazaars.

Day 17 : BUKHARA

Discover Bukhara’s historical gems, including the Lab-i-Khauz ensemble, Nadir Devanbegi Madrassah, Poi Kalon Minaret, and the Ark of Bukhara. Visit the Bolo Hauz Mosque and the Mausoleums of Ismail Samanid and Chashma Ayub.

Day 18 : BUKHARA

Tour the opulent Sitora-i Mohi Khosa, the Emir’s summer palace, and the Bahauddin Naqshbandi Mausoleum, a revered Sufi site. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in Bukhara.

Day 19 : KHIVA

Set out for Khiva, traversing the stark Kyzyl Kum desert and stopping at the Amudarya River. Experience the diverse landscapes of desert and riverbanks.

Day 20 : ITCHAN KALA

Day 21 : RETURN TO TASHKENT
