Day 1 : DEPART NEW YORK

Depart NEW YORK. Upon arrival at Malta Airport, pick up your car and drive to the hotel. Check in and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2 : ARRIVAL MALTA – ST. JULIAN'S (12KM – 30MIN)

Day 3 : ST. JULIAN'S – VALLETTA – ST. JULIAN'S

Today we suggest you explore Valletta by walking. You will be amazed by the culture, beauty, and charm. Known as “the city built by gentlemen for gentlemen,” the capital offers both culture and relaxation. Start with a 30-minute harbour cruise with gondolas, then visit the Upper Barrakka Gardens with its lift. At noon, enjoy the Gun Salute at the gardens with panoramic views over the Grand Harbor and the three cities of Senglea, Vittoriosa, and Cospicua. Continue on a walking tour past Castille Palace, Parliament Building, and into St John’s Co Cathedral, which houses the famous Caravaggio painting, “The Beheading of St John the Baptist.” Conclude with the Malta Experience, an audio-visual show on Malta’s 7000-year history, and explore “La Sacra Infermeria” (Holy Infirmary).

Day 4 : ST. JULIAN'S – MOSTA – ST. JULIAN'S

Today we suggest visiting Mosta, known for its Basilica with the third-largest unsupported dome in Europe. Continue to Ta’ Qali crafts village to watch artisans at work at the Mdina Glass Factory. End with a visit to the old capital, Mdina, and explore St Paul’s Cathedral and the scenic bastion walls.

Day 5 : ST. JULIAN'S – VITTORIOSA & MARSAXLOKK VILLAGE – ST. JULIAN'S

Begin with a drive to Vittoriosa (Birgu), one of Malta’s oldest cities. Walk through the historical town, visiting St. Lawrence Church and the Inquisitor’s Palace. Continue to Marsaxlokk, a picturesque fishing village with colorful boats and a lively market along the seafront on Sundays.

Day 6 : ST. JULIAN'S – SOUTH MALTA – ST. JULIAN'S

Drive to Wied iz Zurrieq to view the Blue Grotto from a high plateau and, if possible, take an optional boat ride. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hagar Qim Temples and conclude the day with a scenic view from the Dingli Cliffs, Malta’s highest point.

Day 7 : ST. JULIAN'S – GOZO – ST. JULIAN'S

Discover the sister island of Malta, Gozo. Start at the Ggantija Temples, followed by a visit to Ta Pinu Sanctuary. Explore the quaint bay town of Xlendi, and the historic Citadel in Victoria. End the day at Dwerja Bay before returning to Malta by ferry (note: ferry ticket not included).

Day 8 : ST. JULIAN'S DEPARTURE

Enjoy your last breakfast at the hotel and, at the scheduled time, drive to Malta International Airport to return your car.
