In the morning, take a panoramic tour of Lisbon, known for its unique light and incomparable charm. According to legend, the Portuguese capital was originally built on seven hills, stretching along the Tagus River in a landscape filled with historic buildings, cobbled streets, and beautiful viewpoints. As the country’s capital, Lisbon has been the stage for some of the most significant events in Portuguese history, including 400 years of Arab occupation, the flourishing age of overseas voyages, the great 1755 earthquake, the end of the monarchy, the dictatorship of the 20th century, and the peaceful revolution of April 25, 1974. On this tour, we highlight the historic Belém district, which features the Belém Tower, the Monument to the Discoveries, the Jerónimos Monastery, and the famous Pastéis de Belém Factory, where we will visit and enjoy a tasting. The afternoon and evening are free. Optional tours available.

Day 4 : LISBON

A full day at leisure for personal activities.

Day 5 : LISBON > ÓBIDOS > NAZARÉ > FÁTIMA

In the morning, travel to Óbidos, the "village of queens." Take a walking tour through its narrow streets and small squares to explore this beautiful historic village, considered one of the best examples of a medieval citadel in Europe. Continue to Nazaré, a stunning beach known for its ancient fishing traditions. Recently, this city has gained worldwide attention for its famous giant waves, attracting big wave surfers and media from around the globe. Enjoy a gastronomic lunch and a ride on the famous funicular. In the afternoon, travel to the Sanctuary of Fátima, a site of religious significance originating from the apparitions of Our Lady to three children in 1917. Check-in at the hotel with the option to participate in or attend the Candle Procession.

Day 6 : FÁTIMA > SERRA DA ESTRELA > SABUGUEIRO > COIMBRA

In the morning, journey to Serra da Estrela, the highest mountain in mainland Portugal, reaching 1,993 meters. This region of rare natural beauty is home to sheep herds that support the local economy by providing wool for the textile industry and milk for the famous Portuguese cheese, queijo da serra. Continue to the mountain village of Sabugueiro for a gastronomic lunch. Proceed to Coimbra, located along the banks of the Mondego River. Once the capital of Portugal until 1256, Coimbra is home to the oldest university in the country. Visit the magnificent University Library, followed by a panoramic tour, highlighting the Republics, the Aqueduct of São Sebastião, and the Botanical Garden.
Note: The visit to Coimbra’s Library is subject to reconfirmation, as it may not occur due to official ceremonies.

Day 7 : COIMBRA > AVEIRO > COSTA NOVA > GUIMARÃES > BRAGA

In the morning, travel to Costa Nova to photograph the famous striped “palheiros” (traditional houses). Continue to Aveiro, a city known for its canals and colorful boats (moliceiro boats), sometimes referred to as the "Venice of Portugal." After arriving, enjoy a moliceiro boat ride and a tasting of traditional sweets. There will be free time to explore and have lunch. In the afternoon, visit Guimarães, the birthplace of the Portuguese nationality, and take a walking tour through its UNESCO World Heritage-listed historic center. Continue to Braga.

Day 8 : BRAGA > SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA > VALENÇA > PORTO

This day will take us through the beautiful regions of Minho and Galicia (in Spain). First, travel to Braga, one of Portugal’s oldest cities and a top religious tourism destination. Visit the iconic Bom Jesus do Monte Sanctuary via the famous water-powered funicular. Next, cross the Minho region and the "Rías Bajas" to Santiago de Compostela (a religious center of pilgrimage, after the discovery of the tomb of the apostle Santiago in the 9th century). Arrive and take a guided tour of the famous Cathedral, which houses the saint’s tomb. Return to Portugal with a stop in Valença do Minho, a historic city symbolizing the cross-border relations between Portugal and Spain, home to one of Europe’s largest and best-preserved military structures. Continue to Porto, the “Invicta City,” the country’s second-largest city, located on the right bank of the Douro River.

Day 9 : PORTO

In the morning, take a tour of the city, whose historic center is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Highlights include Avenida da Boavista, the Bairro da Foz, the Clérigos Tower, Avenida dos Aliados, and the Church of Lapa.
