Lumle Holidays staff and customers are passionate a lot; are not afraid to speak up about ethical and social justice aspects.
Issues viz as human rights, poverty, environmental and many more, there is one of the aspects that Lumle Holidays staffs are most vocal about is “animal welfare”. From observing animals in distress, captive animals in poor conditions or working animals, particularly if it’s associated to tourism, hospitality & leisure industry, Lumle Holidays staff and customers don’t hold back on speaking up for the voiceless.
As a responsible travel focused travel company, operating across over 20 countries, we’ve set policies around not participating in activities that exploit animals – wild or domesticated. From 18th August 2016, we no longer offer elephant rides on any of our holidays.
